STAR Leaders

 STAR Leaders are chosen each month based upon how they carry themselves at individuals and as students during the month.  We base this selection on how well they've lived out our mission, PAWS.  All student names are listed on this document (which is also linked under the Important documents page) on the Homeroom tab.  

If a students name is in a yellow cell, they were chosen as a STAR Leader last year.  This doesn't mean they can't be chosen again, but please look for the good in those who were not chosen last year so their positive qualities aren't overlooked.  

One important step to take when choosing a STAR Leader is to communicate with the students homeroom teacher to make sure that student has carried themselves in the same manner throughout all classes, this is especially important if you are a non-homeroom teacher.  Once you decide on your STAR Leader, you will copy (command - C) the name you choose and then click over to the "STAR-selection" tab.  Once there, you will paste (command - V) into the cell next to your name and under the current month. 

Once you have done that, you will go back to the Homeroom tab and delete the name that you chose.  

The PBIS Committee would love for all of you to participate in choosing a STAR Leader each month.  If we all participate each month, regardless of how many day's of the week you're here, we can recognize all 390 students during the year.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
