Professional Development information for 2021
July 26th & 27th:
Teachers who will be teaching math will attend the Illustrative Math training here at Potter Gray. The session is from 8:00-3:00 and will be held in the gym. Please be sure to bring a fully charged device.
July 28th:
This is a Potter Gray specific training designed based upon the teacher PD survey results taken in late March. This PD is not mandatory, however it's built upon teacher request.
During the AM session (8:00-11:00) Mrs. Marcum will be conducting a virtual training on how to effectively use our touch panel screens. Each teacher will need to be in their own classroom so that you can have access to your own board. (If two or three teachers want to group up in a room, you can, just bring your board along with you.) REGISTER HERE
During the PM session (12:00-3:00 - Library), Mrs. Littlefield will meet with us to discuss full school alignment for writing. Standards will be discussed and understood for each grade level. REGISTER HERE
This is a required PD day for all certified staff.
During the AM session (8:00-11:00) you will meet with your designated CoP group discussion standards and new curriculums. Please look for more information from Mrs. Brown
During the PM session (12:00-3:00) you will meet with Mr. Brown in the Library and we will go over PBIS training, Building Equity book study and items I'm going to ask of you to begin our school year.
