I shared the form so that everyone can access the survey results. Directions (Mrs. Littlefield will take notes):
- Do you feel the results are accurate?
- What stands out to you?
- Review the statements and list the 5 highest-rated and 5 lowest-rated items.
- Of the 10 selected items decide who "owns" each item--is it the domain of the teachers or leadership?
- Of the 10 selected items decide whether or not it represents something you can do, might be able to do, doubt you can do, can't possibly do anything about it.
Geeky stuff...
The survey covers 6 categories:
- Collaborative Leadership: degree to which school leaders establish, maintain, and support collaborative relationships
- Teacher Collaboration: degree to which teachers engage in constructive dialogue that furthers the educational vision of the school
- Professional Development: degree to which teachers value continuous personal development and school-wide improvement
- Unity of Purpose: degree to which teachers work toward a common mission for the school
- Collegial Support: degree to which teachers work together effectively
- Learning Partnership: degree to which teachers, parents and students work together for the common good of the students
