Parent Teacher Conference Information

We've talked in grade level team meetings about how parent teacher conferences would run this year and I wanted to go ahead and be specific about how we will handle this during a pandemic :)

1. All student parents/guardians need to be contacted for a conference.
2. Appropriate avenues for conference (virtual/digital is preferred)
1. Google Meet or Zoom 
2. In-person (only if absolutely needed)
3. Phone call
4. Email
5. Class Dojo
3. Dates for conferences are officially set from October 27-November 6th. 
1. HOWEVER...many if not all of you have been in contact with parents/guardians already about their child's progress. Your conversations are important no matter what dates are given for conferences.  You may retroactively document the parents you've had these conversations with on the sign-in forms. 
2. Conferences can take place before or after the date that's officially set.
4. Parent Sign-in sheets have been placed in your mailbox for documentation purposes.  Please write the parent and student name listed on it when you have communication with the parent. You do not have to put a date on it.  
5. If you have parents come in for a conference, please have them enter through the front office.  Their temperatures need to be taken and masks must be worn before entering the building.  
6. If you would like for me to sit in on a conference please let me know the date and time and I'll do everything I can to make sure I'm there. 
7. Turn in your sign-in form to Mr. Brown when your conferences are complete.
