Hi FABULOUS friends,
With so many new faces, I wanted to make sure that everybody knew how the night of the winter programs will go. Doors will open at 5:30pm...kiddos will head to their homeroom at that time. Some teachers let them talk, some play a movie, some sing the program songs as a rehearsal...it's really whatever you'd like to do. Please make sure that all kiddos have used the restroom and are ready to sing. Around 5:50pm, each classroom will line up their children in their classroom and then bring their line to the hallway. Then your grade will combine in the hallway and I will come to your hallway to get you. We will then put the kiddos on the risers. If all things go as planned, the older grade of the concert (5th, 3rd, 1st) will be on the risers on the stage and the lower grade (4th, 2nd, Kindergarten) will be on the risers on the floor. The way we walk on risers is they step up the risers and walk across.
As we're putting kiddos on the risers, please help me make sure all kiddos can be seen and are beside people that will help them make good choices.
After the program is over, there will be a Student Lighthouse Team member speak and that is when you will take your precious kiddos back to your classroom. Parents are to pick up from your classroom.
If you have a newsletter, will you pretty please put the program dates and times in there?
Kindergarten/1st: Monday, November 20th at 6pm (will last about 30 minutes)
2nd/3rd: Monday, November 27th at 6pm (will last about 30 minutes)
4th/5th/Strings/Choir: Monday, December 4th at 6pm (will last about 45 minutes)
