Last week I did a vlog post all about what number sense is and I got some feedback like, “I know what this is, but now, how do I develop it?” and “How do I develop it, especially when the curriculum I am using doesn’t have number sense activities?”
I also heard from second grade, and upper elementary teachers saying, “My kiddos still don’t have this number sense stuff, so how do I build number sense while also trying to do all of the standards that I need to do at their grade level?”
So, this week I created a vlog post that delves into a couple ways that you can start your school year off building that foundation of number sense, and in a way that it won’t totally interfere with the other things that you need to teach.
Hope you enjoy it! But I do know that it is a pretty short intro into the ways I mention. So, if you would like a more in-depth look at how to implement number sense with PreK-2nd grade kiddos, I'd love for you to join me for a webinar I'm doing this Saturday at 4pm PST. Just click HERE and you will automatically be registered for the webinar.
If you can't make that time, go ahead and register. If the tech is working for me this weekend I will send out a replay to everyone who is registered. Again, all you have to do is click HERE and you will be added to the list for the webinar.
