The Living Calendar has been updated with the STAR assessment windows. 

1) It's important to administer the assessment during the window for the purpose of student growth percentiles is winter and spring. 

2) Many of you chose to administer STAR in your classroom setting as opposed to the computer lab. The students need to understand the purpose of STAR and how the results are used. This metacognition piece ties directly to your use of leadership binders/ data notebooks. The purpose is to ensure they understand the results matter without feeling that additional supports are consequences for their performance. We use the results to identify their individual needs and strengths so we may better prepare them for the next grade level. 

Fall Benchmark: Aug 21-Sept 1
Winter Benchmark: Dec 4-15
Spring Benchmark: April 9-20
